Message from Sister Savings

Dear Friends,

I have received many inquiries as to why there is now a subscription fee to see the Weekly Sales list on SisterSavings.net – some kind and some not so kind. For this reason I would like to explain why there is now a subscription fee…..In 2008 I put a large amount of my own money towards keeping the web site running. This does not include the 10-20 hours per week I spend collecting and preparing all the information. I had every intention of keeping the site the way it was but when pay cuts were made at my husband’s work, I had to either discontinue the web site altogether or charge a small fee. I feel $5 and $6 per month is very fair.

I appreciate those who have subscribed. Thank you for your honesty and integrity.

Family Home Storage: A New Message

Set aside a particular amount of your budget for home storage and purchase a few extra items from the grocery store each week. Also, purchase 1-6 cans of basic food items like grains or beans from the Church home storage center each month.
